Therapy for Boundaries, People-Pleasing, & Codependency
Online in California
Who I Work With
You already know the difference between relationships that fill you and ones that deplete you — you're just tired of choosing the second kind.
If you grew up managing a parent's moods, keeping the peace between siblings, or being the "easy" one who didn't add to the stress — you probably learned to read a room before you learned to ask for what you needed. Some people call this codependency. Others just know it as always putting everyone else first.
You might recognize yourself here:
You're the one everyone leans on, and you don't know how to stop
You're in — or trying to leave — a relationship that takes more than it gives
You keep ending up with people who can't meet you emotionally
You struggle to set a boundary without guilt, so you often don't set one at all
You're succeeding by every external measure but feel disconnected from yourself underneath it
You're ready to make space for relationships that fill you instead of deplete you
Meet Nabilah
Licensed Psychotherapist & Trauma-Informed Clinician
I genuinely love this work. Over the past decade, I've helped hundreds of clients break the patterns that keep them putting everyone else first — and I'd love to help you do the same.
My clients tend to describe me as warm and non-judgmental, but also direct — I'm not going to just nod along for months. I'll tell you what I'm noticing, and we'll work together toward real, practical change, not just more insight.
If any of this sounds like you, I'd love to connect and see if we're a good fit.
Ready to Begin?
You don't have to keep choosing relationships that drain you. If you're ready to set real boundaries, break the people-pleasing pattern, and build connection that actually gives back — reach out, and let's talk about whether we're a good fit.
How Therapy Can Help
You already know where these patterns started. What's usually missing isn't more insight — it's help actually doing something different: saying no without spiraling, asking for what you need, building relationships that don't drain you.
I work particularly with women and women of color, and I welcome clients of all genders, sexual orientations, and backgrounds — including LGBTQIA+ clients. My work is trauma-informed. More on my approach below.

What to Expect
Therapy Services
Starting therapy is a meaningful step toward healing and self-discovery. Whether you're new to therapy or returning after time away, my goal is to make the process feel approachable, supportive, and tailored to your unique needs.
Therapy is more than just problem-solving—it’s a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels intentional and empowering.
Session Length & Scheduling
I offer exclusively online therapy to provide flexibility and accessibility, allowing you to engage in therapy from the comfort of your own space. Sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, ensuring confidentiality and ease of access.
Individual sessions are 50 minutes.
The Therapy Process
step 1
Free Consultation
A brief call to discuss your concerns and see if we’re a good therapeutic fit.
step 2
Intake Session
The first session where we explore your history, understand your current challenges, and begin shaping your goals for therapy together.
step 3
Personalized
Treatment Plan
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. We’ll collaborate to create a supportive, responsive approach that aligns with your needs—whether that’s managing anxiety, healing from past wounds, navigating identity, or strengthening relationships.
Ongoing Therapy & Growth
Through regular sessions, we’ll continue to explore, process, and build the skills that help you move toward a life that feels more fulfilling and aligned with who you are.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. If you’re wondering what this journey might look like for you, let’s connect—I’d be honored to support you.

Individual sessions are $295 for 50 minutes.
Clients who do well here tend to be people who've already invested in their careers, their health, or their growth in other ways — and are ready to bring that same seriousness to how they relate to themselves and others.

I do not accept health insurance and am considered an out-of-network provider. However, I offer superbills for clients who have out-of-network benefits and may be eligible for reimbursement. It is the client's responsibility to confirm their out-of-network benefits with their insurance provider.
I am licensed to provide therapy in California and Florida.
Why I Don't Accept Insurance
I prioritize working directly with my clients (you) rather than within the constraints of insurance companies. Therapy is most effective when tailored to your individual needs, rather than being shaped by rigid insurance guidelines.
While I value therapists who accept insurance, this model does not align with my long-term commitment to providing high-quality, sustainable care. Insurance-based therapy often requires providers to see 8–10 clients per day, leading to overwork, compassion fatigue, and burnout. To ensure I can offer personalized, attentive, and ethical care, I maintain a lower caseload that allows me to be fully present for each of my clients.
If you have any questions about superbills or out-of-network reimbursement, I'm happy to guide you through the process.

Good Faith Estimate
Beginning January 1, 2022, federal law requires health care practitioners to provide current and potential clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) on the cost of treatment. This law ensures transparency about treatment costs and protects clients from surprise medical bills.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to take the first step.
Therapy is an investment in yourself, and finding the right fit matters. I offer virtual sessions to make high-quality, trauma-informed care accessible no matter where you are in California.
Let’s talk — I’d love to connect.
